Behind the Strings

Madeleine is a 2022 violin performance graduate from Brigham Young University, one of Utah's top music schools. She has placed in numerous competitions and soloed at Carnegie Hall in 2019. She has a great love for teaching and has built her private studio for the last 10 years. Madeleine was invited in 2021 to be a presenter and performer at Nevada ASTA's "Violin Day." She regularly performs with professional orchestras, including the Ballet West Orchestra, Utah Metropolitan Ballet Orchestra, Billings Symphony, and for studio recording projects.

Lindsay holds bachelor's and master's degrees in violin performance from Brigham Young University. As a student, she was a finalist in multiple solo competitions and was selected to participate in BYU's Honors Quartet. Currently, she enjoys playing with the Ballet West Orchestra, Orchestra at Temple Square, and for studio recording projects. Lindsay is also a passionate private teacher, having taught violin and piano lessons for over 12 years.

Lizzy graduated from Brigham Young University with her bachelor's degree in viola performance and a minor in entrepreneurship in 2024, studying with esteemed pedagogue Claudine Bigelow. She has extensive ensemble experience, performing with orchestras across Northern Utah and has toured Europe and the western U.S on many occasions. She enjoys freelancing in Utah's professional music scene and managing her private viola studio.

Mandy graduated from BYU with her bachelor's degree in 2023 and has been immersed in Utah's professional music scene ever since. She can frequently be found playing for recording sessions, in orchestras, and for weddings and events. She also has experience performing as a soloist with local orchestras, including the prestigious Utah Symphony. She especially loves collaborating with her musician friends in this quartet and in other ensembles.
